Music Trippin'

   My name is Shantell Shinnette and I'm from the great state of Louisiana. I am a lover of life and all that it brings. I am a motivator and positive thinker. I am a very blessed individual and realize that God has gotten me to where I am today. When I am not working I enjoy listening to music, discussing music, cooking, traveling, reading, blogging, and spending time with family and friends. I try to live each day to the fullest and try something new daily. Constantly broadening my horizons and learning new things. I put my best foot forward in everything I do. I am very thankful for my accomplishments and future accomplishments. 

   I decided to start a blog because I absolutely love music and want to share my love of music with others. From an early age music was apart of me. As a child and teen I played the piano and sang in the choir at school and church. As an adult I DJ from time to time. Music is a constant in my life and my favorite form of art. I love all types of music but my favorites are hip hop and R&B. I named my blog Music Trippin because that's how I feel when I listen to music. Just like a person who is "trippin" off something, they are in another state of mind. When I listen to music I'm in my own world. What can you expect from my blog? You can expect post about music I'm listening to, who's hot and who's not, album reviews, up and coming artist, album release dates, and anything I find inspiring and blog worthy.
